The secondary-level course are built around the Cambridge English Assessment Key English Test and Preliminary English Test. There are 3 levels of study – Pre-KET, KET and PET. Pre-KET requires 90 hours of in-class study, split into 3 blocks of 30 hours; KET and PET both require 180 hours of study, split into 6 blocks of 30 hours. In addition to using the course books listed below, students can also take home graded readers suitable to their level. Vocabulary plays a major part of each course and to supplement this, the online tool Quizlet is used to enhance vocabulary acquisition (click here to see a sample quizlet).
At the end of KET and PET, students are required to pass the equivalent Cambridge exams test to proceed to the next level.
