Background

The web2english course was first my real attempt at designing a fully online course using emerging web technologies. It was part of a research project in which I wanted to show that online courses could be effectively and cost-efficiently delivered and managed without the need of using expensive or complicated LMS solutions. I also wanted to show that using web-based courses could provide students with more learning connections, creating a better learning experience in the process. I was really pleased that it seemed to deliver on both counts and has encouraged me to start web4learning.
